5 easy recipes for campers
It seems that with the change to summer time and the good weather that is gradually seen in Mougás start to appear the desire to camp. Well if it is the first time you join this way to enjoy the free time, well if you are already an expert camper you will know that food is one of the aspects that you should keep in mind when scheduling your vacation.
In addition to a café-restaurant in Mougás we have a large barbecue area where you can cook all kinds of meat and fish. If on the contrary what you want is to escape from the traditional and to look for different alternatives we propose you some easy recipes to break with the routine.
Vegetable bags in aluminium foil
For this recipe you only need foil and the vegetables you have on hand. Cut into small pieces, sprinkle with a few drops of oil, put them in a package made with foil and cook them using the heat from the embers. In addition to taking the seasonal vegetables into account to make the most of this recipe, it is also important to know the cooking times of the ingredients to select those that are similar.
If you do not have aluminium foil handy, some skewers - or even a clean ben branch - are another alternative for cooking vegetables. In addition, for those who do not enjoy this vegetarian alternative too much, you can insert the vegetables with pieces of chicken or meat.
Pizzas de pan
If you travel with children this is an easy and simple recipe that you can also prepare themselves. Just put some tomato sauce on a slice of bread, add cheese and some other ingredient you can think of (mushrooms, sausages, sausage, ham ...), place them on the grill and go!
Grilled Stuffed Pizza
If you are a real chef and you dare to the next level you can try our grilled pizza recipe. Mix in a bowl ½ package of flour, ½ of yeast and a little salt. Add warm water and a stream of oil. Knead until it forms a ball and let it rest until it doubles its size. Stretch the dough - or a serving - on an oiled surface (you can use a dish or the lid of a tupper), add tomato sauce and place the ingredients that you like in the middle of the dough. Close the dough in the middle as if it were a pie and make sure the edges are well sealed. Place it carefully on the grill and cook on both sides.
This tomato recipe is a good way to take advantage of this product beyond the relieved salad. To do this cut four tomatoes (somewhat ripe) in half. Toast 50 grams of peanuts until browned and cut into small pieces. Then put a teaspoon of peanuts, a tablespoon of pesto sauce and some grated Parmesan cheese on half of each tomato. Finally, wrap the tomatoes in aluminium foil and leave them on the grill until the cheese melts.
